Greg, a life-long artist, began his metal work in college in an industrial design studio class. In 2013 he renewed his interest in reclaiming steel, this time as art. Within ten years his work became part of over 79 personal collections and 15 corporate collections, including Markel Corporation and Dominion Energy. Greg lives and works in Richmond, Virginia and is a practicing architect specializing in historic and residential projects.

A drive through the salvage yard presents endless possibilities. I sift through piles of laser-cut, stainless-steel scrap and ultimately layer the reclaimed steel with new steel panels and paint. The result is a celebration of symmetry, pattern, color, and an ethereal shadow that shifts as my art and angles of ever-changing light meet.
